The New Cumberland Garden Club selected the home of Alan and Peggy Lee as its July Yard of the Month. The home along Ridge Avenue features a number of flower gardens along the house and porch as well as small gardens scattered throughout the yard. For their efforts, the Lees received a framed plaque and a check from the city of New Cumberland, which co-sponsors the Yard of the Month project. Club members placed a sign in the yard which will stay in place until the August Yard of the Month winner is announced.
