First Westminster youth thank first responders

Immediately following church service on Sept. 12, a few Steubenville Police Department officers stopped in the parking lot of First Westminster Presbyterian Church so the children could thank them for their service and presented them badges they had decorated during children's church. After visiting with the policemen, the group headed to the downtown fire station on North Street where they had the opportunity to visit with more first responders, including EMTs and firefighters. "The children enjoyed their visit and were proud to spend some time with some of our local first responders," a church spokesperson commented.
