‘Big’ topics part of Saturday programs at Cadiz library

CADIZ -- Marc DeWerth will tackle two "big" topics during presentations Saturday at the Puskarich Public Library, located at 200 E. Market St., Cadiz.

One is on big trees -- the other on Bigfoot.

He is the founder of Big Trees Ohio, a volunteer group that has discovered more than 1,000 of the state's largest trees, some of which are national champions.

His tree program at 1 p.m. involves a slideshow and takes a look at the magnificent trees located in Harrison County and other parts of Ohio.

DeWerth's presentation on the legendary Bigfoot begins at 3 p.m.

He is the Ohio curator of the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization and will share compelling audio recordings, evidence and stories of these elusive creatures.
