Evening of music Saturday

at East Springfield center

EAST SPRINGFIELD — An evening of gospel music will be held Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. at the East Springfield Community Center, located on county Road 39 next to the East Springfield Volunteer Fire Department.

The featured singer will be the music ministry of Michael James Facciani of Iowa, who travels the country as a full-time soloist and music evangelist.

Admission is free, and there will be refreshments. A love offering will be received.

Philoptochos gyro sale Nov. 2

at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox

STEUBENVILLE — Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Philoptochos Society will host its monthly sale of gyros from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the church, located at 300 S. Fourth St.

Gyros are $8 each. There will be a 25 cent charge for extra tzatziki sauce. The kouroulakia (twist cookies) are $7 a dozen.

There is free delivery on orders of four or more gyros. Orders will be accepted the day of the sale by phone to (740) 282-9835 or fax at (740) 282-2091.

Allowing a minimum of 20 minutes to process phone or fax orders is asked.

Shiloh’s women’s ministry

to hold calendar tea Oct. 30

WEIRTON — Shiloh Apostolic Faith Assembly’s women’s ministry will celebrate with a calendar tea at noon on Oct. 30 to the theme “Will the Circle Be Unbroken –Women Growing Godly!”

The program will include guest singer Rhonda Parrish from Second Baptist Church in Steubenville and a monologue skit about Deborah and Jael from Judges 4 presented by Rebecca “Tish” Turner from Shiloh.

The event is open to the public. The church is located at 3000 Weir Ave., Weirton.
