Gyro sale set for Jan. 4 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox
STEUBENVILLE -- Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Philoptochos Society will host its monthly sale of gyros from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 4 at the church, located at 300 S. Fourth St.
Gyros are $8 each. There will be a 25 cent charge for extra tzatziki sauce.
The kouroulakia (twist cookies) are $7 a dozen.
There is free delivery on orders of four or more gyros. Orders will be accepted the day of the sale by phone to (740) 282-9835 or fax at (740) 282-2091.
Allowing a minimum of 20 minutes to process phone or fax orders is asked.
Rotary Club of Steubenville
has fundraiser in progress
STEUBENVILLE -- Looking for a last-minute gift that not only provides a unique gift to someone on your Christmas list but helps a service organization at the same time?
The Rotary Club of Steubenville once again is selling the My Enjoy Coupon Book. Costing $40, the annual publication includes discounts and offers for businesses and restaurants around the Tri-State Area, and is good through Oct. 31.
"It's a great fundraising project for our club," said Ross Gallabrese, Rotary Club president.
"Proceeds from the sale of the books allow us to continue to help the community, from offering scholarships to supporting other nonprofit groups and organizations."
