Library makes plans for
January programming
STEUBENVILLE -- The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has the following programs and activities planned in the coming weeks at its various locations.
Adena Branch, (740) 546-3782
Children: Stop in to make a craft on Jan. 6 at 5:30 p.m.
Adults: Book club will meet on Jan. 10 at 5 p.m. Sit in to listen or join the conversation by calling the library.
Adults and Teens: Solve a mystery at the library. From Jan. 3-8 adults and teens can visit the library to help solve "The Midnight Murder" at the library. Each person will receive a story and clues to solve the mystery among the library shelves. Each correct entry will be placed into a drawing.

Adults: Visit the library to unwind and color pages designed for adults on Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. Supplies will be provided.
Children: Pick up a Grab-and-Go Story Time anytime on Jan. 10, while supplies last. Each kit includes a book and activity for children to enjoy.

Adults: Join us for a Knights Templar program on Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. Who were the Knights Templar? A reference librarian will discuss the history of the crusading order of the Knights Templar and their influence in Europe and the Mideast. Registration is required by calling the library.

Adults: Game Night is back at the library. An evening of fun and fellowship is planned for Jan. 6 at 6 p.m.

Christmas Eve service planned at Follansbee Nazarene Church
FOLLANSBEE -- A Christmas Eve candlelight communion service will be held Friday at 6 p.m. at Follansbee 1st Church of the Nazarene, located at 144 Mahan Lane, Follansbee.
All are welcome, noted Pastor Larry Barkley.
