Members of Girl Scouts Troop 31103 in East Springfield delivered 18 tie blankets they made along with a box of socks they collected to the Friendship Room in Steubenville on Jan. 15. Troop Leader Chelsey Cline explained that 15 girls in the 20-member troop spent two meetings making the tie blankets for donation. Among those who helped and were on hand to deliver them were, front, from left, Brillie Grimes, Adalyn Swearingen and Cadence Bendle, and back, Olivia Davis, Kendall McElroy and Kinsley Cline. The troop meets at United Methodist Church of the Cross in East Springfield.
