Weekly fish fry resumes Friday at Brilliant American Legion
BRILLIANT -- After a brief holiday break, weekly fish frys return to the Brilliant American Legion, located at 210 Market St.
Fish frys are scheduled to continue through May 6. The hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The menu includes a choice of Coleman's fish, chicken planks, shrimp or fish nuggets, all of which can be purchased as dinners or smaller portion baskets.
Dinners come with bread, French fries or onion rings and coleslaw. Other menu items include french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and hot or mild cheese balls.
Orders can be called in to (740) 598-3515. Limited delivery will be available.

Side Quest Wednesdays new offering from Brooke Library
WELLSBURG -- The Brooke County Public Library is offering Side Quest Wednesdays, a social gathering for students in grades 5-12 interested in role-playing and other games as well as movies, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of each month in the library's River Room.

Melching also leads a Dungeons and Dragons club for young adults that meets from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Tuesday at the library.
