Weekly fish fry resumes Friday at Brilliant American Legion
BRILLIANT -- After a brief holiday break, weekly fish frys return to the Brilliant American Legion, located at 210 Market St.
Fish frys are scheduled to continue through May 6. The hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The menu includes a choice of Coleman's fish, chicken planks, shrimp or fish nuggets, all of which can be purchased as dinners or smaller portion baskets.
Dinners come with bread, French fries or onion rings and coleslaw. Other menu items include french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and hot or mild cheese balls. Orders can be called in to (740) 598-3515. Limited delivery will be available.

East Springfield Cemetery
Association to meet Saturday
EAST SPRINGFIELD -- The annual meeting of the East Springfield Cemetery Association will be held Ssaturday at the East Springfield Community Center located on county Road 39 next to the East Springfield Volunteer Fire Department.
The meeting will begin at 11 a.m.
Any resident of the community is invited to attend and to voice his/her concerns or ask questions regarding the operation and maintenance of the cemetery.
Weir High Class of 1970
plans Wednesday meeting
WEIRTON -- Members of the Weir High Class of 1970 will be meeting on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Gee's on Pennsylvania Avenue.
A summer picnic is being planned. All classmates and spouses are invited to attend.
