ADK chapter given slate of officers at February meeting

NEW CUMBERLAND -- The Alpha Tau Chapter (WV) of Alpha Delta Kappa, International Honorary Organization for Women Educators, held its February meeting at the Swaney Memorial Library in New Cumberland.
Diane Bowers, president, called the meeting to order. Chaplain Kathy Griffith gave a reading from "Walking in Grace." Secretary Velda Icard read the minutes, and Treasurer Fran Jones gave the financial report.
Nominating Committee Chairman Ginger Greene presented the slate of officers for the 2022-24 biennium. Icard discussed the state convention, which will be held April 22-24 at the Charleston Marriott. Those planning to attend include Icard, Fran Jones, Griffith and Amy Hannahs.
The program for the evening was a silent auction with the proceeds benefiting cystic fibrosis research.
Hostesses for the meeting were Michelle Bernardi and Michelle McHaffie.
