On Valentine's Day, the Beech Bottom Girl Scout Troop No. 10087 donated two new sets of CPR equipment -- two AED trainers, two baby and two adult mannequins -- to the Beech Bottom Volunteer Fire Department. Funds to purchase the equipment, which cost more than $600, were raised by the Girl Scouts by selling cookies and popcorn at Concert in the Park and fall festival, candy and nut sales and Girl Scout cookie sales. On hand for the presentation were, front row, from left, Ava Williams, Grace Sheperd and Shania Sheperd, and back, fire department Capt. Jason Merigo, President Dave Paugh and Chief Greg Sheperd.
