Weirton Senior Center dances on first Friday of the month
WEIRTON -- After a successful dance held April 1, the Greater Weirton Senior Center, located at 3425 Main St., Weirton, will be hosting another dance on May 6 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The cost is $5 and includes food and punch and the music of Jack Thomas. Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish.
"From now on, we will be having a dance the first Friday of each month," noted Tammy Margetic, center director. For information, call (304) 748-3490.
Annapolis Mini Flea Market dates for 2022 established
ANNAPOLIS -- The Annapolis Mini Flea Market has established dates for 2022, according to T.J. Anderson, founder of Let's Fight Together, a nonprofit that Anderson, a transplant recipient, founded more than eight years ago to help local kidney dialysis patients.

Catholic Central High School Class of 1982 plans reunion
STEUBENVILLE -- The Catholic Central High School Class of 1982 will be celebrating its 40-year reunion come July.
The weekend will kick off with a golf outing at the Steubenville Country Club at 8 a.m. on July 8 with a social mixer at Bennigan's at 185 Franciscan Square, Steubenville, beginning at 6 p.m.
The main event starts with a Mass and tours at 4:30 p.m. July 9 at the high school, followed by a party from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the CCHS cafeteria. Tickets are $15 per person, and "it's casual dress to encourage everyone to attend. We'll enjoy great food, music and memories," according to information submitted. S.O.A.R. planning luncheon meeting April 27 at Mario's
WEIRTON -- The next meeting of S.O.A.R., an acronym for steelworkers of active retirees, will be held April 27 at Mario's Restaurant, 3806 Main St. Weirton, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Minority Health Month events include men's breakfast
STEUBENVILLE -- A men's health breakfast is the next event on the calendar for the observance of Minority Health Month, one of several activities being organized in April by the Neighborhood Community Development Center of Urban Mission and funded by the Ohio Commission on Minority Health.
It will be held held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Mount Carmel Community Baptist Church, located at 708 N. Fifth St., Steubenville. It involves a healthy breakfast and guest speakers who address prostate health and men's general health issues.
A free prostate screening will be held April 26 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tony Teramana Cancer Center. Registration is under way for men ages 40 and older. The deadline to register is April 19 by contacting Barb Steitz, patient navigator, at the Tony Teramana Cancer Center, at (740) 264-8207.
Senior fitness classes
offered at Brooke library
WELLSBURG -- The Brooke County Public Library is offering Geri-Fit, a 45-minute strength training class for older adults.
Participants start lifting light weights, usually while seated and can work at their own pace. They should bring a set of light dumbbells, a stretch band and water to drink.
The video fitness classes are held from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Follansbee Library, 844 Main St., and from 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays at the Brooke County Library, 945 Main St. Those interested in participating in the free classes should register by calling (304) 737-1551 ext. 106.
