Torchbearer Omicron Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met at the Farm Restaurant in Mount Pleasant to celebrate the 91st anniversary year of its founding. Officers installed for 2022-23 were seated, from left, Llelia Buffone extension officer; and Linda Cole, projects manager; standing middle row, Ina Chidester, treasurer; and Kathy McKenna, president; and back, Sandy Villamagna, recording secretary; Marlene Hamilton, projects manager; Nancy Lonetto, corresponding secretary; and Alberta Herrick, vice president. Following the meal, the chapter held its Founder's Day program. McKenna read the Founder's Day pledge, announcing the theme for 2022-23 would be "Friends at Your Fingertips." McKenna presented gifts to members. Chidester presented the president's award to McKenna and Woman of the Year to Villamagna. McKenna presented Chidester, Valentine queen, with her crown pin. Villamagna reviewed highlights of the 2021-22 year.
