Area residents are invited to check out the library's presence at Steubenville's Beatty Park on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the first StoryWalk of the season. "We'll read the new StoryWalk book, 'Scribble Stones' by Diane Alber, make some springtime crafts and eat some snacks," explained Jennifer Cesta, the library's public relations coordinator. Each month a new book begins at the park. Pages from a book are enlarged and placed in permanent sign holders. When children are finished reading the book, they are encouraged to come to the Main Library to pick up a prize.
