Wildwood Critters
The Wildwood Critters met May 15 at Murray's Restaurant in Wintersville with seven members attending.
Pledges were led by Hannah Randolph with roll call taken by Amanda Boring. The reports of the secretary and treasurer were read and approved.
Unfinished business included the Skillathon, contest day and passing out project books.
Under new business, discussion covered a second community service project, T-shirts, a booth theme, scholarships and clinics.
A presentation was given on preventing barn fires. Colte Sines and Borgin gave demonstrations.
The next meeting is Sunday at 5 p.m. at Murray's.
Cross Creek Tomahawks
The Cross Creek Tomahawks met May 15 at the School of Bright Promise in Steubenville.
Gabby Bodo was in charge of the meeting attended by six members and led by adviser Karen Hill.
Bodo did a demonstration on graphic design doing a neon design for a barn.
Community service projects were discussed, and the club conducted a cleanup at the School of Bright Pormise.
J.P. Wilson did a grill safety talk.
Future plans include flower beds for the county fair, looking for rock for the flower bed, trophy donations, T-shirt ideas and the skillathon for youth showing livestock.
June 26 is the next meeting date, beginning at 3 p.m. at the School of Bright Promise.
