The 2019 graduate of Steubenville High School and graduate of Cleveland State where he earned a degree in science said he will be starting medical school in Denver in the fall to become a psychiatrist and would be using booth proceeds to go toward his continued education.

Candids on today's community page are some from Friday and Saturday Juneteenth festivities at Second Baptist Church in Steubenville that kicked off the four-day community celebration of the observance marking the end of slavery in the United States.
It included a variety of vendors, activities, food and entertainment.
The observance continued Sunday at Harding Stadium and then Monday, the federal holiday, at the Berkman Amphitheater in Fort Steuben Park.
