BEXLEY, Ohio -- Capital University conferred degrees at the university's 172nd commencement ceremony held in May.

Capital University announced that its president's list honorees for the spring 2022 semester included Joyce Barr of Cadiz and Kevin Cuervo of Wintersville.
Capital has three lists denoting academic distinction among full-time, degree-seeking students -- the president's List, provost's list and dean's list. The president's list indicates the highest level of academic distinction. To be named to it, students must have achieved a grade-point average of at least 3.85.
John Carroll University
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Andrew Waggoner of Toronto has been named to the dean's list at John Carroll University for the spring 2022 semester.
Students eligible for the dean's list must have completed a minimum of 12 semester hours within one semester and have a quality grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
