Today’s community page sports candids taken during the June installment of Wednesdays in Wintersville, which organizers said had “phenomenal” attendance before the four-hour community event was said and done.

It’s “Christmas in July” tomorrow for the next Wednesdays in Wintersville so expect to hear Christmas music, see Christmas shopping and catch sight of Santa Claus himself.

The event runs from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., features more than 70 vendors, food trucks, activities, the farmers market sponsored by the Jefferson Soil and Water Conservation District and special promotions to purchase luminaria for a $5 donation for “Lights in the Night” on Dec. 3 in Wintersville. There also will be a toy drive going on with attendees encouraged to bring an unwrapped child’s gift to the event, leaving it at the informational booth at the corner of Main and Grove streets.
