having Halloween party Monday
FOLLANSBEE -- The Brooke County Senior Center will hold a Halloween party for senior citizens at 11 a.m. on Monday
It will include a lunch of hot dogs, chips and a beverage, with attendees invited to bring a covered dish. There will be bingo from noon to 3 p.m. and prizes awarded for the costumes that are scariest, funniest and most original.

Craft show scheduled Nov. 5
at Aquinas Gym, Steubenville
STEUBENVILLE -- Steubenville Catholic Central High School will hold its third-annual craft show on Nov. 5 at Aquinas Gym, located at 625 Lovers Lane, Steubenville
It will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and feature unique crafts and more than 40 vendors and "exclusive decor ideas," according to a promotional flier.
Admission is free.
Brooke County Sportsman Club
to hold turkey shoot Nov. 13
WELLSBURG -- The Brooke County Sportsman Club, at 2540 McAdoo Ridge, will hold a turkey shoot from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 13.
The prize is $20 so the winner may purchase his or her own turkey or something else.
Dungeons & Dragons classes
at Brooke County library
WELLSBURG -- The Brooke County Public Library will be holding Dungeons & Dragons classes for middle and high school students from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each Tuesday.
The classes will be taught by Daniel Melching and David Nixon, who will bring everything needed for a game.

Story hours for children being offered at library on Mondays
WELLSBURG -- The Brooke County Public Library will hold story hours for children, ages 2-5, and their caregivers, at noon each Monday.
