Mingo Senior Center having
Christmas party on Saturday
MINGO JUNCTION -- The Mingo Junction Senior Center, located at 663 Commercial Ave., Mingo Junction, will be holding its Christmas party on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The meal will include ham, mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, a fruit tray and cranberry sauce. donations of food would be appreciated. Door prizes, a Chinese auction, a 50/50 drawing and "a few other surprises" will be part of the festivities. Special Christmas music will be provided by Rich Grimm.
Soup, sandwich, dessert sale
is Wednesday in Wellsburg
WELLSBURG -- The Altar and Rosary Society of St. John the Evangelist Church, 1300 Charles St., Wellsburg, will hold a soup, sandwich and dessert sale on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until sold out.
A variety of five soups and six sandwiches will be available. Patrons can dine in, or takeout is available. Orders can be called in to (304) 281-1239 after 11 a.m. the day of the fundraiser.
Sarris candy bars will be available for $2 each.
Christmas movie 'A Gift From Bob' at Follansbee Library
FOLLANSBEE -- The Follansbee Library will be showing the PG-rated Christmas movie, "A Gift From Bob" at noon on Friday.

Annual hilltop caroling event
is being scheduled for Friday
STEUBENVILLE -- Agape Church Worship Center is hosting its annual hilltop caroling on Friday at 609 Lawson Ave., Steubenville, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
"Come and join the fun, food, fellowship, hayrides and caroling on the hilltops," a spokesperson noted.

Hopedale flea market Saturday to feature special guest
HOPEDALE -- The social hall of the Hopedale Volunteer Fire Department, 103 Fire House Lane, Hopedale, will be the site of a flea market featuring a special guest.
The flea market will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with Santa Claus on hand from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. here will be a breakfast and lunch stand available and a 50-50 drawing.

Railroaders invited to attend
breakfast meeting Thursday
CHESTER -- All railroaders are invited to attend a breakfast meeting at E.J.'s Restaurant, located at 807 Carolina Ave., set for Thursday at 11 a.m.
All retired and current railroaders and crafts are welcome to attend the get-togethers that are held on the third Thursday of the month at 11 a.m. at E.J.'s.

Free yoga class being offered
WELLSBURG -- Taylor Provenzano will lead a free yoga class at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Brooke County Public Library.
Participants will learn about the philosophy of yoga as well as proper breathing, postures and movements.
