Country Crafts from the Heart, located at 193 Main St., Wintersville, held a fundraiser drawing for a train with proceeds to benefit the Bread and Roses Soup Kitchen at St. Paul's Church in Steubenville. "We are happy to announce that we were able to donate $500 to this great organization," noted the store's owners. The Bread and Roses Soup Kitchen was initiated during the early 1980s by the Rev. Michael Dudley and the parishioners at St. Paul's as a way to reach out to those in need of a meal and fellowship. It has run continuously since then, excluding 2020 and part of 2021 due to the pandemic. "It is only possible for us to help out these types of local charities because of you, our loyal customers and friends. Thank you all and "God Bless us, everyone," the owners noted.
