STEUBENVILLE -- The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County has announced the following programs and activities.

Children: Make a dream catcher on Tuesday at 5 p.m. This program is for ages 10 and older. Registration is required.
Adults: The creative writing class meets on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Stop in to participate in the creative writing exercises.
Teens: Perform spoken word poetry during the Poetry Slam set for April 22 at 2 p.m. Call to register.

Adults: Make a butter board and learn a few new recipes at this food demonstration on Thursday at 5 p.m. Did you know? Dill's first recorded mention is in a 5,000-year-old Egyptian medical text. It's all about the Dill herb at this program. Seating is limited. Registration is required.
Teens: Stop in for the Grab-and-Go Craft Monday through April 21 while supplies last. Each bag contains materials to make a wildflower seed ball.

Discover what the library's Digital Shoebox e-resource has to offer in a program on Wednesday at 6 p.m. Nearly 100,000 pages of text and nearly 5,000 historical images are waiting to be explored. Registration is required.
