The Weirton Unit of Church Women United held their May Friendship Day celebration May 5 at Oakland Presbyterian Church in Weirton. Participating in the celebration were 22 women representing eight churches. Member Diane Pastoric presented Sarah Hilditch from the Lighthouse organization in Weirton with the donated items collected. The next meeting of CWU will be held at 11 a.m. Aug. 4 at the Dunbar Center, Weirton.
