The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club held its monthly competition June 20. Winners included, from front left, Sharon Slokan, Michelle Stevens and Lisa Carte; and back, Eric Patterson, Karen Felix, John Jackson and John Hanish. In addition to the competition winners, there was an open category in which winners included: Stevens, first place; Hanish, second place; and Carte, third place. The special effects category winners were: Slokan, first place; Carte, second place; and Deb Snider, third place. The June competition was set to theme, "Flowers." The Upper Ohio Valley Camera Club welcomes anyone who has an interest in photography, whether they use a camera or cell phone to take photos. All are welcomed to attend meetings. The next meeting will be held at 7 p.m. July 18 at Two Ridges Presbyterian Church, in the lower level social hall. The church is located at 1085 Canton Road, Wintersville.
