The Weirton First Christian Church Disciples of Christ, dedicated a new elevator lift for its sanctuary, located at 3252 Main St. The lift can be accessed at the rear of the church, and can be used by those needing assistance during Sunday morning worship services, which begin at 10:30 a.m. One does not need to be a member to attend services and the community is welcome. Those taking part in the dedication included from left, the Rev. Mark Mayer, pastor; Tyra and Mike Clark, heads of the lift project; and Karen Blanc, congregation moderator.
