Refocus church to hold VBS
FOLLANSBEE -- The "Stellar Vacation Bible School" will be held at the Refocus Christian Church in Follansbee Friday through Sunday under the theme, "Shine Jesus's Light!"
Children will have the opportunity to discover how they can shine Jesus' love and hope into everyday life and participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, including singing songs, playing teamwork-building games, making treats and experiencing one-of-a-kind Bible adventures.
They will learn to look for evidence of God through "God Sightings." Each day concludes with a cosmic closing and living what they've learned. Family is encouraged to join in during this time at 8 p.m.
The VBS is for preschool through fifth-grade kids. Classes are held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. For information, or to pre-register, visit the website: Refocuschurch.com. Registration can be done at the door. The closing ceremony is at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, followed by a church picnic. There will be food, games and more.
