Five generations of the Shannon family gathered recently. All five members of the family have been a resident of Jefferson County at one time or another, according to officials at Ohio State University. The family reunion consisted of, from left, front, Garnet Merritt, great-great grandmother; Coraline Faith Scott-Shannon, granddaughter; and back, Connie Shannon, grandmother; Janet Wade, great-grandmother; and Isaiah Shannon, father.
