Cancer fundraiser set
STEUBENVILLE -- A fundraiser will held for Steubenville resident Cathy Morris, who is currently going through breast cancer. Family members explained funds will be used to assist with medical expenses.
A spaghetti dinner at the cost of $15 is scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. Sept. 9 at Froehlich's Classic Corner.
Patrons can dine in or take out their meals. In addition, a silent auction, 50/50 drawing and bake sale will be held.

Headshot happy hour set
TORONTO -- The Business Professional Women's Club has partnered with the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce for the annual Headshot Happy Hour. The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 7 at Tri B's Coffee Shop, located at 241 N. Fourth St. in Toronto. The cost is $60 for chamber members or $75 for non-chamber members. Team photos are $125. The photos will be taken by Brandi Birkhimer of Bella Lux Images.

Kiwanis to hold quarter auction
WEIRTON -- The Weirton Kiwanis Club will hold the Kitty Kochman Quarter Auction beginning at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at Undo's Restaurant in the Holiday Inn, Weirton.
Proceeds from the auction will go to support the Weirton Kiwanis Club's community projects.
