Spring Hills Ladies Golf League
The Spring Hills Ladies Golf League play of the day on Aug. 17 was "Throw Out Your Two Worst Holes." Game winners were: A Flight, Ruth Lamantia; B Flight, Neysa McCart; and C flight, Pat Carey.
The winner of closest to the pin was A flight's Lamantia.
Long drive winners were: A flight, Brenda McCloskey; B Flight, Linda Caputo; and C flight, Carey.
The low putts winner was Lamantia. Carey won the 50/50 drawing.
Highland Springs Ladies League
The women of the Highland Springs Ladies League played the front nine Tuesday.
The play of the day was "Three Blind Mice." Game winners were Yuko Atwell, first place; Ruth Lamantia, second place; and Erin Ankrum, third place.
Veronica Foldi won the prize for closest to the pin on second shot on hole No. 5.
Laura Froehlich won the prize for long drive on hole No. 7. The lowest putts prize went to Atwell, who had a chip-in birdie on hole No 8. She birdied hole No.7, as well. Tammy Koutsky had a chip-in on hole No 5. Other birdies were landed by Lamantia on hole No. 9 and Froelich on hole No. 7.
On Monday, the play of the day will be a scramble on the back nine. Tee-off time is set for 5 p.m.

Cadiz Women's Golf League
The Cadiz Women's Golf League held its play of the day, "Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda" Wednesday.
Hostesses were Tamara Dulaney and Ann Milleson.
Winner included: A Flight, Roberta Cireddu; B Flight, Kathy Smith; and C Flight, Denise Augustine.
Low putt winners were: A Flight, Janis Cook; B Flight, Marsha Porter; and C Flight, Augustine.
Marilyn Kenny and Cireddu had birdies, while Augustine, Kathy Newburn and Donita Rush had chip-ins.
Next week's play of the day will be low gross score.
