Gina Judy, Steubenville Art Association member and board-member on the Pittsburgh Society of Artists, prepared to shake the hand of juror Tara Fay Coleman, board member, artist relations coordinator and associate curator at Bunker Projects. Judy was one of four jurors presented with awards during the annual jury exhibition at the Third Street Gallery in Carnegie, Saturday. Presenting the awards were co-chairs Paula Martino and Andrew Spanoudakis. Her "Ballet-Series VII: All Dressed" watercolor received one of four awards. The 67-piece exhibit features 44 members of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists and runs through Oct. 21. The gallery is open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and noon to 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Publicity chair and soon-to-be recording secretary of the group, Judy has watercolors being featured in Fort Worth, Texas. at the Society of Watercolor Artists Juried-Member Exhibit. Her work is entitled, "Deck at Fallingwater." She won awards in the Rocky Mountain National in the Center for the Arts in Evergreen, Colo., including the merchandise award for "Sunny Sully At Attention" and honorable mention for a linoleum print, "Mansfield JailBirds" in the North Hills Art Center Member Show. Judy will be in online exhibitions including Philadelphia Watercolor Society International Works on Paper and Rhode Island Watercolor Society. — Contributed
