The 65th class reunion for those graduating in the Class of 1958 from Jefferson Union High School was held during Labor Day weekend. The celebration included a program and dinner at Undo's Restaurant in Weirton. Judy Lapeus Simpson served as master of ceremonies and Wayne Johnson provided the blessing. Treasurer H. Lee Kinney sought donations, collecting a total of $1,000. The money will be given to a college-bound senior from Edison High School's Class of 2024. Class Secretary Elaine Cullen Maple was recognized for mailings, responses and obituaries. Eudora Kellermire Elliott closed the evening by leading the gathering in singing the school's Alma mater. At the time of graduation, the Class of '58 was the largest to graduate from J.U. Of the 98 graduates, 48 have died, classmates noted.
