Three-man teams comprised of members from the Toronto Police Department, the Toronto Fire Department and those serving with the TEMS Joint Ambulance District competed against one another to see which emergency personnel would come out the winner during a wing-eating contest. This event takes place during the annual Toronto Art Festival, held each September at the city's gazebo area. The wing-eating competition on Saturday had competitors vieing for who could eat the most wings in the fastest time. City police officers walked away with the championship title, taking back the trophy. Winners included from left, front, Jared Rock, Derek Piatt and P.J. Putnam. The trio flanked their trophy for a photo after receiving the award in this fast-paced contest. Other participants included, from left, back, Anthony Middleton, Toronto firefighter; Josh Finney, TEMS personnel; Aaron Mosti, TEMS personnel; Spencer Sninchak, TEMS personnel; Caleb Gotschall, Toronto firefighter; and Brandon Porter, firefighter. The city's emergency services will be taking part in next year's event, should the festival offer the opportunity for another challenge.
