Weirton Madonna High School is observing its homecoming festivities this week. This year's court includes, from left, front, candidates Carmela Pulice, Onna Welsh, Mia Chiodo, Mia Pietranton and Elle Wingett; and back, king candidates Jonah McKay, Chase Littleton, Luca Muzzi, Veniamin Kopyn and Grant Wilharm. The homecoming parade will be held Thursday, with line-up at 5:30 p.m. The parade will travel from the Frankovitch Law Offices to Madonna High School. A pep rally will follow, where the king will be named through the eating of a cupcake. The queen will be named during Friday's game against Beallsville through the random selection of a special colored rose. Madonna's homecoming dance will be Saturday at Undo's. — Contributed
