1 min read

Bishop John King Mussio Elementary School is making preparations for the upcoming 16th-annual pasta dinner fundraising event. The dinner will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Blessed Sacrament Church's Upper Sargus Hall, located at 852 Main St. in Wintersville. According to organizers, this will be a new location from previous years. Tickets will be available at the door. The cost will be $10 for adults, $5 for students and free of charge for those 3 and under. The meal will consist of pasta, a meatball, bread and butter, salad and a drink. A variety of authentic Italian desserts will be available for purchase, officials stated. Examples of the desserts available included a cannoli-filling station and Pastaio's signature triple-chocolate brownies. The afternoon will feature the chance to take part in drawings and a silent auction, organizers stated. The silent auction will include a Franciscan University of Steubenville scholarship, officials noted. To-go orders can be placed by calling (740) 264-0311 after noon. For information, call the school at (740) 264-2550. Among the pupils ready to help with the fundraiser dinner were, from left, Noelle Delaney, Nathan Cowan, Peter Symington, Adriana DiGristina and Jameson Petrella.
