WEIRTON -- The Four Seasons Senior Club held its Nov. 15 meeting at Undo's Restaurant. There were 32 members in attendance. President Gene Viola called the meeting to order.
Tony LaRosa provided the opening prayer, which was followed by the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance and singing, "God Bless America."
Following dinner, members were entertained by the Ron Retzer Trio.
Members welcomed Mary Alice Meyer, who attended the meeting as a guest.
Those who won a prize at the meeting included, LaRosa, 50/50 drawing; Cecilia Finley, sign-in book; Nancy Smurda, Undo's gift certificate; and Larry Purks, Margaret Chapman, Marge Bursky, Pam Fari, Barbara Purks and Mike Rowland, door prize winners.
Under the category of new business, members discussed the issue of officers. "Happy Birthday" was sung to Norma Yoho and Steph Iannetti. Two pumpkin rolls were donated for the purpose of being used as a door prize in an upcoming drawing, officials announced.
There will be no entertainment at the group's next meeting, scheduled to take place Dec. 20.
The December meal will include, salad, steamship round or stuffed chicken breast, baked potato, fresh medley of vegetables and chocolate mousse cake.
LaRosa gave the closing prayer prior to the meeting adjourning.
