Hall of Fame accepting applications
WEIRTON -- Nominations for the Madonna Hall of Fame Class of 2024 will be accepted through Feb. 9.
Forms can be found online at weirtonmadonna.org/hall-of-fame or paper copies can be picked up in Weirton Madonna High School's office.

Fire district board to meet
WINTERSVILLE -- The Seven Ranges Joint Fire District Board of Trustees will meet in regular session for its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at 300 Airpark Road. The reorganization meeting will follow.
January luncheon planned
STEUBENVILLE -- The Steubenville High School Class of '59 has announced its next luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Froehlich's Classic Corner. To make a reservation, contact Norina Eroshevich at (740) 219-2234. All are welcome to attend.
Free aerobics course offered
WEIRTON -- The Weirton campus of West Virginia Northern Community College is offering a free spring aerobics class, set to begin Jan. 16. The program will run through May 9.
The class will meet from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday in the student center, located in the back of the building. The instructor will be Carol Teaff.
This low-impact class places emphasis on continuous movement, strength improvement and flexibility, organizers said. All exercise and stretching is done in a standing position to music that is the equivalent to 128-150 beats per minute. Everyone is encouraged to work at their own ability level, it was noted.
Participants should wear loose or stretchy clothing and athletic shoes. A bottle of water should be brought as well. Stretchy bands will be provided; however, students are welcome to bring their own.
To register online, visit wvncc.coursestorm.com and look for the list of classes under the category "low-impact aerobics." Follow the instructions to register.
Students can register on a paper form prior to the start of the first class. Those enrolling through this option are asked to come early and complete the paperwork.
Crossroads to hold blood drive
TORONTO -- The Crossroads North River campus will host the American Red Cross for a community-wide blood drive. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 19 in the sanctuary of 207 N. River Ave. in Toronto.

Conference slated for Jan. 20
STEUBENVILLE -- The 2024 Winter Women of God Victory Campaign will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Father's House, located at 4244 Sunset Blvd. A free lunch will be included.
Guest speakers for the event will be Lisa Greathouse of Weirton and Tracey Mazeroski from Richmond.
"This is where we want to laugh, love and experience God's presence in our lives," officials said.
This is an inter-denominational women's conference, but is available to men who would like to participate, as well.
