The Brooke Middle School Band, above, was among the participants in this year's short parade that was held prior to Follansbee's annual Christmas light-up event. The events featured a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus, activities for children, face painting provided by Brooke High School art students, refreshments for everyone and the singing of Christmas carols. Sadie Ludewig, below, a Little Miss Lions contest winner, was among those taking part in the Focus in Toronto Christmas Parade, which ran along North Fourth Street. Sponsored by the Toronto Lions Club, Ludewig was driven in a classic automobile by Lion Jay Foster.
