Tara Sheperd of the Weirton Community Bread Basket, left, accepted a donation from Deb Witkowski, health and wellness coach of the Giving Ourselves Amazing Lives group. Members of GOAL hold meetings at the Millsop Community Center in Weirton. Whether they gain or lose weight, they believe it is a part of their journey to donate something which will help to benefit the area. Members get to select an organization as their charity of choice and chose the Community Bread Basket. During the first six weeks of 2024, a total of $416 has been collected for the charity.
