The Brooke Hancock Family Resource Network had three members of their Action, Strategies, Allies and Prevention Youth Council attend Prevention Legislative Day. The event was held at the state capital in Charleston on March 4. Students staffed a resource table and spoke to delegates from throughout the state, including Brooke and Hancock counties. Discussions focused on the issues facing youth today, their hopes and their fears for the future. Anyone between the ages of 10 and 24 residing in Brooke or Hancock county who is interested in joining the youth council, can contact the Brooke Hancock Family Resource Network at brookehancockfrn.org or by phone at (304) 748-7850 Ext. 1006. At right, students worked with Amy Neeley, Brooke-Hancock Family Resource Network Prevention Coordinator.
