Going to state

Buckeye Local juniors Jailyn Cline and Allison Jarrell have been selected to attend the 2024 Buckeye Girls State. Sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary of Ohio, this year's event will take place at Bowling Green State University from June 9-15. The duo will spend the week learning about government and participate in various mock activities. Those helping to announce the girls' opportunity to attend included, from left, front, Cline and Jarrell; and back, sponsors Liz Cook, Rita Boyd and Cheryl Zamski. Cook and Boyd are representatives of the Brilliant American Legion Post 573 and Zamski represents the Adena American Legion Post 525.
