The 12th-annual Kiwanis Team Trivia Competition was held in the Steubenville High School commons area, with 16 teams participating in the fundraiser. Teams of up to 10 players each vied for the top-place finish. The winner of the event was the Pride of the Red Knights from T-Town. Second-place finisher was the team of Hunkler's Heroes. Third place was awarded to Check Your Head. A two-point difference separated the top three teams, with the top score being 916 and third place receiving 914 points. Sue Busler from Maryville, Ill., was the evening's emcee. Busler formulated 10 categories, with each category having 10 questions. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the many youth-related activities of the organization. Kiwanis President Larry Coleman said this was a great event and thanked all the participants and those businesses which donated items for the evening's silent and live auctions.
