During the International Senior Club meeting at Undo's restaurant in Weirton, President Regina Truax presented a $100 check to the nonprofit group Never Alone West Virginia. A collection was then taken by those members in attendance, who Truax stated, "beautifully gave from their hearts." A total of $510 was collected from the senior club and presented to Never Alone officials. Truax also spoke of Club 3:16 -- the teen branch of Never Alone. Club 3:16 is planning to hold a community kids activities day event on July 27 at the Weirton Event Center. Teens from the club will be hosting the event, which is for anyone in kindergarten through eighth-grade. Admission is free. Any teen interested in joining Club 3:16 can contact Truax at (304) 670-0936.
