Juniors, seniors and staff members at the Jefferson County Joint Vocational School conducted a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors as a fundraising activity for the student group Sources of Strength. Top-finishers collecting the most wins were given a prize and named on March 15. Participants purchased green beads in honor of St. Patrick's Day as another means of raising funds. Top finishers included, from left, front, Zayne Carson, fourth place; and back, Kaitlyn Jarrell, third place; Noah Crawford, first place; and Arionna Brynza, second place. Sources of Strength is a global mental health and suicide prevention initiative. Students serve as peer leaders as a means to spread hope, help and strength.
