The Weirton Senior Citizens' Center began its monthly dances on Thursday. Participants had the opportunity to enjoy an evening of fellowship, food, entertainment and dancing. The monthly event is open to the public, with the next dance scheduled from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. May 2 at the center. Admission is $5. Participants are asked to bring a covered dish that will be shared during the evening's meal. Each dance includes musical entertainment, drawings and the chance to form new friendships.
