STEUBENVILLE -- An unforgettable summer of camps is right around the corner.
Officials with the Sycamore Youth Center stated this summer will be packed with creativity, learning and fun.
There are 15 free summer camps being offered at the center.
However, spaces are limited and the camps are on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Strings Orchestra Camp, led by Melissa Tracy and Frances Clum, runs from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. May 13-17; Ballet Camp, led by Audrey Shannon, takes place from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 13-17; Sycamore Folk Dance Camp, led by Zac Gordon and Jariel Henthorn, runs from May 28-31, with beginner classes from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and experienced dancers from noon to 1:30 p.m.; Indian Creek Middle School Sycamore Stars Summer Camp, led by a staff of 10, runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 28 to June 14; International Fairy Tale Camp, led by Sarah Wear, runs from 9 a.m. to noon June 3-7; Sewing Camp, led by Marianne DuBoise, runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. June 10-14; Praise Band Camp, led by Hasmine Zanes and the Speiro Academy, runs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 10-14; Drama Camp, led by Asher Breunenger and Naedia McCann, will take place from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. June 17-21 for beginners ages 5-9, and from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 17-21 for older children ages 10-18; Art with the Masters Camp, led by Michelle Clum, runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 17-21 for those between the ages of 5 and 9, and from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for those 10-18; Crazy Eights Math Camp, led by experienced teachers, runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon June 24-28; FCA Leadership Camp, led by Bobbyjon Bauman, runs 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 24-28; and Sycamore Summer Fun Camp, led by 50 volunteers, runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 5-9.
