WEIRTON -- Members of the Three Score Senior Club were called to order by President Kathy McCarrick during the March 28 meeting.
The meeting's decorations were provided by McCarrick, who used a spring theme, officials noted.
Bob DiFonzo provided the opening prayer.
He then led in the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance and began in the singing of,"God Bless America."
Entertainment for the evening followed dinner. Jack Giacomel provided the monthly entertainment, singing and playing the keyboard for those in attendance.
At the conclusion of the meal and program, the minutes from the February meeting were read by Secretary Barbara Purks. Members approved the minutes.
In the absence of the club's treasurer, Brenda Edwards, George Pohlman provided the treasury report.
McCarrick then gave an update on the health status of members Winnie Kemp and Carol Irvine.
McCarrick announced to those gathered there is a need for a volunteer to fill the position of Historian Lee Edwards, who is retiring.
Reservation Chair Vivian Weigel informed members she received 32 reservations for the evening's dinner.
Weigel announced what will be served for dinner during the April meeting.
Prizes were donated by Jim Hare and awarded to winners Mary Margaret Klepadlo, Marlene Runkle, Ed Powell and Marlene Hare.
The 50/25/25 drawing was given by Larry Purks and Powell. Winners were Joann Kerr and Betty Virtue.
Virtue also donated prizes, which went to Purks, Leonard Ginier and Kerr.
Table centerpieces comprised of hydrangeas were awarded to various members.
DiFonzo gave the benediction. It was announced the next meeting is scheduled to be held April 25.
