Church Women United held its Friendship Day meeting May 3 at Oakland Presbyterian Church. There were 21 women from 10 churches participating. Sarah Hilditch, VOCA court advocate from Lighthouse, accepted products donated by CWU for women at staying at Lighthouse. Following the meeting, the women attended a luncheon prepared by the Oakland Church Women. The next meeting will be held Aug. 2 at the Dunbar Center.
