The Disciples Women Group at First Christian Church in Weirton sponsored a musical program for the church and community April 14. Donald Duncan, with accompanist Jinna Clark, presented "Hornucopia: A Trumpet Journey." Susan Brown and Lynda Slowikowski greeted attendees, while President Janet Rymer welcomed the group. The Rev. Mark Mayer led the opening prayer and Roberta Fedoush led the congregational song. Duncan, music director at Pittsburgh Baptist Church and a member of the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, inspired his audience as he took them through the history of the trumpet. Secretary Karen Blanc led the closing prayer and invitation to the reception that was hosted by Carol Skerbetz and Pam Yelich. Connie Norwood and Susan Beamer collected the love offering.
