SOAR to hold picnic
FOLLANSBEE -- The Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees will hold its annual picnic at 11 a.m. June 27 in Follansbee Park.

Weirton Heights to hold VBS
WEIRTON -- A Vacation Bible School will take place at Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church for those between the ages of 3 to pupils in the fifth grade.
Join the church in having fun "down under" as the theme will be, "An Aussie Adventure."
"Explore God's monumental love and discover what it means to have unshakable faith through Bible lessons, crafts and games," organizers stated.
The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. June 21, and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 22.
A celebration service to conclude the adventure is scheduled for 10 a.m. June 23.
The church is located at 121 Ivy St. in Weirton.
