The Ohio State University Extension office of Jefferson County hosted a Cloverbud Horse Day Camp for members of 4-H clubs between the ages of 5 to 8. The young participants received the opportunity to create a wooden horseshoe craft and a horse button which they can wear on their cowboy or cowgirl hat. Each club member was taught the parts of a horse and learned how to groom the animal. At the conclusion of the event, 4-Hers were able to put washable, fingerpaint handprints on the ponies.
